THE PROJECT

Loro Piana explores its affinities with Japan in the heart of Milan.

The kiosk in Via dei Giardini is transformed into a Japanese bakery. Here typical wagashi kasutera sweets with honey and matcha, are offered to passers-by in boxes wrapped with the millennial art of furoshiki. A sustainable and ancient method of wrapping gifts, created with unused exquisite fabrics like silk that could then be used as scarves.
